To whom it may concern;
I have been cable-vision/optimum customer for close to 20 yrs. Every 2 years I am told by a representative saying I have skipped a month? At ironically always this time of year? There is something seriously wrong here? As you are in the business of providing service to those of us who are dependent on their TV’s and cable service. You must know the what the importance of that service is to most. Most of us, don’t let the service get interrupted.
That said. Although I may be a couple of days late with payments. When calling the company to pay the bill, you are given the choice to pay either the balance of the last month’s plus your current statement or the option of the paying the past due amount. I always chose the past due amount. Which should bring me up to date? In the eyes of your customer service reps that is not the case? I would never skip a month. That being said. Never in my years of calling does the automated system tell me I have skipped a month. I check my bills and it does not add up? I paid May’s bill on the 7th of June as it shows on my bank statement. Additionally my statement tells me the deadline for the past due amount on my statement was due no later than June 10th. Before service interruption would happen. And before the next cable payment deadline is even due of the following month’s bill?
Last night I was watching tv and my service gets interrupted. Saying my account was suspended? I had to call and pay an additional 200 and something extra? I want a refund as there is clearly something wrong with your system. And as I have stated before I do not miss any month. Maybe a couple of days behind the the normal monthly deadline before service interruption. But never miss a month’s payment. . And again, always within the cutoff date. I would like someone to address the issue as I have been a long standing loyal customer. If this is not rectified I shall take it to the FTC. Thank you.
